Studied the risk factors for Helicobacter pylori infection and severity of abdominal pain symptoms in minority children seeking medical evaluation for dyspepsia and recurrent abdominal pain, 2000-2002.

Service. Performed a cost analysis and evaluated the outcomes of pediatric orthotopic liver transplantation at Texas Children's Hospital, 1997.

University of Miami School of Medicine Summer Research Fellowship.  Mentor:  John Barrett, Ph.D., Professor of Physiology and Biophysics.  Developed a technique to study the regeneration of CNS neurons following striatal lesions in rat pups, 1993.

Dr. Wilsey is the Past-President of the Hillsborough County Pediatric Society as well as the former Florida Region V Representative of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

He lives with his beautiful wife and three teenage children and enjoys reading, running, swimming, watching college and professional sports and spending quality time with friends and family.
