Dr. Rook was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  She lived in NYC, where she did her Pediatric Residency at Miamonides Medical Center.  She then moved to San Francisco, CA where she did her Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at UCSF.

Upon completing her fellowship she joined the faculty at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she was an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics.  Dr. Rook specialized in pediatric liver disease and was a member of the liver transplant team at CHOP.  Her expertise includes liver disease, and all aspects of pediatric G.I. disease. 

Dr. Rook relocated to Tampa, FL in July 2013 with her husband and 1 year old daughter.  She loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends, cook, and the warm weather!
